From Tomahawk to Tomorrow
Originally built in the 1960s as the legendary Tomahawk Truck Stop, this junction stop has served generations of drivers crossing the eastern Colorado plains.
Around 2017, Ricky and his family purchased the property and poured their hearts into restoring and remodeling the truck stop — making the improvements the building had needed for decades while honoring its roadside legacy.
Today, Brush Travel Center stands on the historic Ports-to-Plains corridor at the junction of I-76 and Highway 71 — a modern sanctuary of efficiency and restoration for the modern traveler.
